-DC can be UBER boring at times, unless there's a planned event to attend like a concert or festival of some sort. But a couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity of going to Broccoli Fest for the first time which was an event made in honor of Earth Day where local vendors and artists can showcase their work. Funny enough this event was right after Coachella and of Of Course I was stumped that I couldn't attend this year, but The Broccoli Fest made me believe I was at a low scaled version. In a parking lot full of fashion and live music, I had a blast! I was thrilled that I had the opportunity to meet so many fashionable people in the area. The only thing that would have made this experience better was the weather. Just like Maryland to be unpredictable and have the worst weather on the greatest days and good weather when you have nothing planned...At All; URghhh! The outfit I'm wearing is one of my new fav finds at the thrift store. I was planning on wearing it during the summer but couldn't resist waiting that long to wear something sooo great. It just sucks that it was too cold to wear it as is and had to pair it with a jacket the whole night. But what ev's. Can't wait til next year to do it again!
-This jacket by far has replaced what used to be my favorite leather jacket as my new favorite. I'm kind of glad the weather hasn't warmed up completely yet so I can get more wear out it. I've only officially worn it 3x because I bought it when winter first started and it was WAY too cold to wear it then. I would've died if I had to wait til fall to wear it. In case you didn't know, as much as I'm addicted to thrifting, I am to ebay. I've been on bidding wars for days to score a fringe jacket for a decent price. I was on a serious hunt for 3 months to find the perfect fringe jacket and finally found this on Etsy. What are some pieces that you can't live without or would die to own??
