Feeling Very Holly Golightly

Inspiration

-I started my morning with a meeting over lattes, bagels, and cheese spinach artichoke quiche to discuss some future projects. It didn't help that the weather has been acting so crappy. With a 99.9% chance of rain, I didn't want to risk getting rained on and coming to a meeting looking like a wet dog (hair puffed up and frizzy and the possiblity of getting more sick than what I already was with wet feet) expecting anyone to take me seriously. So I opted for a roll out of bed look A La' Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany's. This look was effortless and one of my favorite go to summer outfits. It's as easy as wearing a slip and pairing it with some heels or in my case rainboots because of the weather. A fresh face and a silk or satin scarf to prevent any water damage and a rain coat/ coverup. These slips are easy to come across in the thrift store and range in price form .99cents - $5.00 and there's ton of designs to choose form. Just be careful not to choose anything that may be too revealing to avoid looking cheap or scandalous. Top it off as Holly would with a pair of dazzling earrings and Wha- La!!
-I like to believe that after a hard day of work, it's time for play. After the meeting, the skies cleared and I headed to the beach before it decided to down pour again.
