DIY Peep Toe

This is the result of a 50% off sale at the thrift store gone wrong. I was obsessed with the discounts that day that I was literally throwing every shoe into my cart without looking at the size, going solely off color or texture. What I didn't realize was that I didn't have any socks on that day to try any of the shoes I selected. I ended up buying 8 pairs of shoes and only one pair, the best ones too of course didn't fit. They were $2 and I was totally in love with the color. The perfect color to refresh my wardrobe. Plus they were from Netaporter and is 100% leather. I was determined to keep these shoes as they were too good looking to part with and plus I already had 10+ outfit ideas in my head for them. The solution to my drastic dilemma was resolved in 5 minutes with a box cutter, bias tape/ ribbon, and super glue. I simply traced with the tip of the box cutter a horizontal line on the toe of the shoe of where I would cut. Then cut into the shoe with the box cutter along your traced line also going along the front of the shoe. Remove any remnants and apply the ribbon with super glue for a cleaner look. I then put thick paper into my shoe overnight to help widen out the peep toe hole.
