Bandeja Paisa

The term Bandeja Paisa is commonly known as an array assortment of foods such as your meat, beans, white rice, plaintain, and fried egg served in one meal in the Colombian culture.

-Fresh Steamed white rice
-1 pepper
-1/4 of an onion
-1 Garlic clove
-Boneless Chicken Breast
-Eggs (one per person)
-1 Can of Black Beans
-1/4 cup of ketchup
-1/4 cup of salsa

1. Mince your garlic

2. Chop up your onions

3. Chop up your pepper

4. Add a little bit of oil to a pan and turn on medium low heat. Add all chopped ingredients. Cook for 2 minutes or until golden, stirring occassionally.

5. In a seperate pan with a little oil, add your boneless chicken breast and cook on medium heat. Add a dash of garlic and onion seasoning and season salt. Occassionally flip the meat to allow thorough cooking on both sides or until it reaches a golden complexion.
Cut the chicken into quarter size pieces and put back in the pan on low heat.

6. Add cooked peppeers, onions, garlic, and onions. Also add 1/4 cup of ketchup and salsa. Cook on low heat and allowing everything to marinate for about 2 minutes.

7. In a seperate pan add 1/2inch of oil and ripe plantains that are sliced on an angle. Allow to cook on both sides for about 2 minutes or until golden brown.
SN: Fry an egg and cook black beans according to instructions on can.
