This is the outfit that I magically whipped together in 1 day for NYFW where unfortunately I only stayed for one day due to work, school, and surprisingly feeling homesick. NYFW is normally always a fun experience that I look forward to months in advance, but this yr I was kind of just over it.

Anywho... I am so glad that 1 yr later I was finally able to wear the final results of this jacket that was a DIY project from hell. I had a school project from 2 yrs ago where I had used soda can tabs that I purchased in bulk and b/c I didn't want to throw the leftovers away I decided to put it to good use...on the sleeves of my fav jacket after getting inspo from MK Olsen's Givenchy jacket here. Gluing the pcs on took FOREVR but instantly fell in love with the finished project. I then free hand painted the jacket with a cool hamsa design. (I think I'm going to be revamping all of my old jackets now lol). Also this skirt is a skirt I bought from the sale section of H&M that I cut into a triangle design and added gold trim to give it more texture. Whala!!! I was going for comfort this yr and was pleased with my results.
